  • Tricolor male?

    :?:

I have an 8 mo old male cat who has black and grey tabby markings with a solid white chest, partially white belly, and white and black spots on his feet/paws. He has moderately large patches of orange on his lower abdomen. His mother is a calico.

Does anyone know if he would qualify as a "tri-color male"?

    Thanks!

The colors would have to be different enough to be considered tri-color, like black, white and orange. Sounds like you have a gorgeous tabby pattern. :) Tri-color males, or calicos are for some weird reason usually sterile. Not always, but usually. The black/grey/white combination is fairly common in males, though it looks so awesome no matter how many times you see it. They always look so tiger-esque. :)
