My cat and moving

I just recently have been evicted,and I am temporary staying with my
father in law. my husband and my mom to.
My cat has not been acting right,is it because he does not
know the place well.
also there are two other cats here as well,but they mine their own business.

mine is scared and runs from them.
how do i get my cat to eat is basically what i need to know.
why did it take him 24 hours ti finally drink water.

Always keep the food handy and give him anything like a toy he had before. Something to remind him of home. If he doesn't start eating/drinking soon then take him to the vet.

Cats are not always very good at moving. And especially since you've gone into an all new household complete with 2 cats, strange people, etc.

Can you keep him confined to your bedroom for awhile? So he has his own little secure and safe world for now. And do be sure there are some familiar things in there around him. Like his toys, bedding, a towel with your scent on it, etc.

Later, you may be able to ease him out into the rest of the house.
