Is there any natural way to control flea populations? Because I don't want to use any chemical products for my pets (whether it is tablet or spray). I think that chemicals in any form can affect the health of my delicate pets.

Try rubbing them with peppermint leaves or peppermint oil. Peppermint is a natural way to detor fleas.
We have a huge peppermint patch in our front yard, and the cat we have now (and all the cats we've had before him) have always went and layed in the peppermint patch and we never saw a single flea on any of them. :)

              Re: Cat health talk

Ideally, pet owners should vacuum the house every second day or at least twice weekly. While adult fleas lay their eggs on pets, the eggs have a smooth surface and drop onto the floor fairly quickly. The places where pets sleep, rest and spend most of their time are therefore likely to have the highest number of immature fleas.

                Hi.

I am also in favor of Peppermint treatment as its effects can be seen with in a short time span.

                  Re: Cat health talk

Thank you very much for starting this information through this discussion. Really helpful to control flea populations. Both the tablet way and the natural way are quiet helpful. We can use any of these according to our choice and pet's health. I found it very useful.
