The cause could be very serious, but there are lots of possible causes, some more serious than others. Only a vet can tell you the cause of this problem.

I understand about your financial difficulty. I suggest that you look online in your area (the Philippines, judging by your IP) for "free or subsidised veterinary treatment". Most countries have some charities who treat pets for free or nearly free for those with limited incomes.

I heard crying while walking on the streets while it was raining so I searched for the crying kitten, I picked her up and didn’t notice her other eye was red. I don’t have money for vet since I’m only a student and i have no allowance at the moment but I want to help this kitten.
She’s eating well and she looks fine but her right eye is like this. Do you have any idea what it is?
