My american staffordshire terrier is carrying her babies and it is expected to have them a few weeks from now, now here's my question, what should i do? Am i suppose to help her in feeding the newborn puppies? where should i place them?

    Re: Newborn puppies

At birth the puppies should be left with their mother. Early bonding is essential for healthy development. Normally she should have enough milk to feed the puppies, but in case of difficulty consult a vet and s/he will advise you about some puppy milk if necessary.

Totally agree. Newborn puppies should stay with their mother. It is better for their health

Welcome to the forum! I couldn’t help but notice in one of your visitor messages you said you study pet-therapy. I read about it and I was quite interested. How long have you been studying?

Newborn puppies need to stay with their mother and as far as feeding them is concerned don’t worry the mother will have enough for them, if not, you can consult a vet to help you come up with an alternative, there are a bunch of websites that can connect you with a vet.
