Does your dog love the beach?

My canine loves the beach. Will chase the ball into the water until he drops. Can last more than an hour. Only thing is, he doesn't have the swimming confidence to swim way out. So we have to to toss the ball to the edge of the water. Will only fetch the ball up to knee (his knee) depth.
We go twice a week in summer because we live nearby. The sand seems to linger on him for a few days which makes cleaning up inside a nuisance. But overall it's worth it!

Should see the look on his face when he knows he's going to the beach!

The problem is it's hard to find a dog friendly beach. Seems like more and more beaches are becoming non-dog friendly or at least instead of turning a blind eye towards it they are now handing out fines. We took our dog to a beach in California once when we were traveling and she loved it. If we let her she would still be digging in that sand. Just gotta keep them cool as they get hot fast out there.

Hi, I live in Tuscany and there're some pet-friendly beaches. Tuscany is the ideal place for have an holiday with a dog. There're a lot of farmhouses pets-friendly where dogs and cats can stay inside the apartments with you.

Ha, ha! Like that! Our beloved dog Puce was a country dog. One year we took her to the UK to visit my older son. He lives by the sea. We took her on the beach and when she saw the waves, at first she was hesitant. Soon, she got used to it and enjoyed sniffing the rocks and sand. But she never went in the sea itself.

I'm in Colorado so my dog has never experienced a beach.
