  • Healthy Fish Oil for your Dogs

Like any other member of your family, you only want the best for your furry little friend, but did you know that your dog may be missing out on essential fatty acids? Even though modern pet foods are supposed to be well balanced, it is still apparent that most dogs are low on omega 3 and omega 6, which affect several parts of your dog’s healthy life. This problem is easily countered with the addition of fish oil for dogs to their usual diet. Nutri-Vet Alaskan Salmon Oil for dogs is just the product you will need, and is easily integrated into your dog’s day to day diet.

Dog food refers to food specifically intended for consumption by dogs, as opposed to table scraps of human food. In the United States alone, dog owners spent over $8.5 billion on commercially manufactured dog food in 2007.Some people make their own dog food, feed their dogs meals made from ingredients purchased in grocery or health-food stores or give their dogs a raw food diet.

Fish oil has its benefits, but another kind of oil that is also really good for dogs is flax seed oil, especially if combined in a diet with cottage cheese. This is based on the Budwig diet which was originally made for humans in the 1950s, but after years of research there was also a formula designed for dogs which can help in cases of arthritis and other old age ailments. You could technically make it yourself, but there's a company called Buddy Custard that specializes in it, I recommend that you check them out.
