    This is rather depressing, unfortunately some horses have been poisoned by what they think is via injection.

    A very upsetting story, indeed. There are weird maniacs about - and there is no shortage of animal-haters. Another possibility is that someone might had a grudge against the owners of the horses (some personal feud, or a rival stud breeder). However, I think it is more likely that this is some mentally-sick person with a severe hatred of horses.

    Let us hope that s/he is found - and quickly.
